Held Hakuna Matata 3 – The latest generation of motorcycle gear

Held now presents updated versions of its popular Hakuna MC jackets and Matata MC pants, now with improved features and new design. The new series is called Hakuna Matata 3 and offers higher comfort, safety, and flexibility than previous versions, while maintaining their robust construction and reliable weather resistance. The jackets and pants are now also available in new colors and more sizes.

Differences between Hakuna II and Hakuna Matata 3 jackets:

The new Hakuna Matata 3 jacket builds on the successful design of Hakuna II but with several important updates:

• Material: Hakuna Matata 3 uses Cordura RipStop 500D, which provides increased durability and strength compared to the regular Cordura 500D in Hakuna II.
• Membrane: Hakuna Matata 3 is equipped with a Sympatex® membrane, which can be used both inside and outside the jacket as rain protection, while Hakuna II used a Held-Tex-Z-liner membrane only inside.
• Safety: The new jackets come with D3O® T5 EvoProX soft protectors as standard at the shoulders and elbows, offering a more flexible and comfortable protection solution compared to SAS-TEC® 3-D protectors in Hakuna II.

• Membrane: The Sympatex® membrane in Matata 3 can now be used both inside and outside the pants as a flexible rain protection, while Matata II had a Held-Tex-Z-liner only inside.
• Safety: Matata 3 pants come with D3O® T5 EvoProX protectors for both knees and hips as standard, which replaces the SAS-TEC® protectors in Matata II and offers higher flexibility and better protection.
