Installation Instructions

1. Remove the front number plate.
2. Carefully cut any zip ties holding the start and stop switch cables on the handlebars. Unscrew the clamps and let them hang down.
3. Locate the switch connector on the motorcycle. It is often located near the steering head of the frame but can sometimes be placed under the tank.
4. Disconnect the connector and remove the switch. Note how the cables are routed.
5. Clean the connector with electronics cleaning spray.
6. Loosely mount the new switch on the handlebars in the desired position.
7. Route the cables in the same way as the original and connect the connector.
8. Check that the cables have the right play by turning the handlebars fully in both directions. Adjust if necessary.
9. Secure the cables with new zip ties and place them behind the handlebars to protect against damage.
10. Reattach the number plate.
